Olea, What a Night

I was surprised and thrilled to have dinner with twelve of my closest friends last night. I thought Amy was just inviting a select few from the informal PUPS supper club, but it turned out to be quite a crowd of my best dog buddies (we missed Rob and Sara, though, who were observing Passover). It was sort of like a surprise party, since I was definitely surprised to see so many people! We had a great time at Olea, despite the fact that they have discontinued their once-awesome prix fixe deal. And Michelle brought a light as a feather coffee/chocolate/meringue cake from Financier. I really appreciate everyone coming out to celebrate my halfway to 90 mark. Life is definitely made richer with good friends.

It was a glorious night and we were all happy to be there. Thanks for being born.

Girl! See what happens when you move -- I forget your birthday.
